At KPS we strive to meet your needs and make your life easier! Rather than hunting through countless vendors to find all the of the products for your case, give us a call. We provide the Independent Living and Technology products you need from multiple vendors and present you with a single invoice. You now have only one vendor to get receipts from, one vendor to do research for difficult requests, and one vendor to call for tracking information and delivery confirmation. If an order is shipped directly to your veteran we send a pre-filled 1905M form and invoice for them to sign and return. We follow up to help you get that paperwork you need. We provide the attention to detail and individualized service that only a small business can provide.
Each of our computer packages comes with the unique KPS tech support warranty. This sets us apart from the Big Name vendors. Many times a company provides a warranty but when you contact them there are issues getting them to honor it. Often their support staff has English as a second language and it may be difficult to communicate. Or if your veteran is not tech savvy it can be hard for them to explain what exactly is going on with the computer in the first place! Another issue is that some problems are just not covered by manufacturer's warranties. For instance, a hard drive may fail on a laptop. The manufacturer replaces the hard drive under the warranty - but the hard drive is where the computer stores all files and programs, so they are left with a new hard drive but they have lost all their schoolwork and personal files! 9 times out of 10 those files are still recoverable from the old drive. KPS provides the missing link to the equation. Our technicians are trained to troubleshoot problems, resolve them quickly, and act a go between to work with the manufacturer if need be. In the example of the hard drive failure, we attempt to recover those files first before replacing the drive and then restore them to the new drive so the veteran does not have to totally re-create all of their hard work. We speak the language of computers and know the right questions to ask and things to say to get the manufacturers to honor their word and provide the service they promised.
